Pinching stewards caps.
"You've got chlamydia" chanted at a female steward.
Physically assaulting stewards.
Setting off fireworks.
The whole section has become a problem for and an embarrassment to the club.
Can the entirely predictable responses about "...in my day", "...just young laddies" and "...creating a bit of atmosphere" be put in a separate thread?
The truth is that some of these adolescent wannabes are from families with loyalist and paramilitary connections...proudly boasting about all manner of Orange Order activity and other "traditions".
The truth is that they are also being orchestrated by aging, beer bellied, balding, socially inadequate, cocaine fuelled morons...he'll bent on being seen as one of Danny Dyers "hardest" men.
The truth is that their tricolor burning antics are remnants of an age the rest of the world has left behind.
The truth is that they are not daft wee bairns...they are anti-social, pack mentality, poorly educated young men who are Hell bent on doing whatever they want with no regard for the wants and needs of others.
The club have foolishly created a problem here and solving that problem is going to be very difficult...bordering on impossible. A mis-step by the new regime and one I am sure they regret.
As I sat and watched their "antics" today I found myself praying for a Sirhan Sirhan.
On a side note we have to employ stewards who have the physical presence not to be bundled over or intimidated by this odious collection of cretins.
