I'm not sure the days of the longevity in a manager at a club really exists these days.

If a manager does 4 years, I reckon that counts as a long term plan these days.

Agreed. But that's usually an issue with impatience of the club, and not itchy feet of the manager. I think most clubs hope that their manager will stick around, but If you bring in someone like Pep you know it's short term.
