BT Sport's new Champions League TV deal up to 2021 for £1.2 billion.
No games at all on free to air channels, not even a highlights package on ITV anymore. Everything to be shown on BT Sport. And with the top four from England, Spain, Germany and Italy all getting guaranteed places in the group stages from next season it's only ever going to get worse.
Without ever wanting to get to the stage when you're one of those dullards that's giving it "I'd rather watch Kilmarnock - Hamilton than the Champions League" it's all becoming quite repetitive and boring. Same teams playing every single year with the same results, pulling further and further away.
