There's plenty experienced, out of work managers kicking about. Whether they'd be interested in the job is another matter mind.
O'Neill was ambitious, but not wildly ambitious. And he had good reason to knock us back.
Just because he said no doesn't mean we should be pieing any sort of ambition and limiting ourselves to looking at folk like Smith and McKay FFS.
With the players we have coming through it's a relatively exciting time to manage Scotland and the right manager could take us to the next level and see us qualify fo a major championship IMO. We should be looking at better and more ambitious options than the names that have been linked to the job recently.
