I don't think they are told to go out and punt it, but good teams start from the back and we are totally clueless on how to do that. That tells me it does not get worked on in training and it shows. Even McLaughlin is very slow to distribute the ball. Then you have right backs in midfield/7 defensive players on the pitch and it's no shock we are so poor to watch.
