surely it'd be a better contest if you warned the target you were coming so could try to hide/run away.
But it'd be better still if the hunter went hunting with a paintball gun - could undeniably hunt down the target animal, could show that they got it, animal lives.
And if it's a big dangerous animal then it might not take kindly to just having been splatted and there could be a new contest - will the hunter get away
But best of all - don't go shooting unarmed creatures.
