Robinson has been asked to be contacted if he is considered the only candidate as he's not prepared to be part of a long interview process while still being the Motherwell manager. We basically have to approach Robinson when we've decided "he's our man". From what Stephen Craigan has been saying, Robinson is keen, but his focus is Motherwell.

My gut is that she would've liked to have had him in for interview alongside the other candidates if he is was available for one.

I can see his point and would agree with him on it, no point in him alienating himself among the Motherwell support for a gig he might not even get if he was to be interviewed along with others.

I still think he'll be offered and accept the Northern Ireland job, but it's all if's, but's & maybe's.
