Alienware is all I've ever heard of

You need to watch with gaming PCs because there are so many brands out there like Alienware where you can get an equivalent PC for much cheaper if you don't get the one with the cheap LEDs and 'gaming aesthetic'.

Pre built budget PCs that you can run games on are probably going to start about 500 and that's before you get the monitor etc.
