I'm consistent in that I don't want the police careering into anti-lockdown protests with their batons either.
I'd prefer if people didn't congregate but I also know you can't control people's minds. A bit of protesting regarding the lockdown measures can keep governments honest - so it serves a purpose.
I do draw the line at loyalists smashing up their own city's town square because they've won a football match though.
