I feel like remasters, in general, should be avoided, even if the games were class at the time (as the GTAs were) as there are a lot of modern touches they don't have.

I sprung for the Command & Conquer remaster a couple of years ago and once the nostalgia wore off, the realization that they're actually quite shite now sunk in. Just daft little things like your units not defending themselves on the move and pathfinding etc. Same reason I'm not getting the Rome Total War remaster even though RTW is easily one of my top five games ever.

Aye, I bought C&C too. Gave up about 3 levels into Red Alert

Think if you're not going to come up with a new game, it's got to be a total reimagining like the Resident Evil remakes that have come out.
