That being said, we cannot get ourselves into a situation in which we are waiting for 46-year-old Craig Gordon’s comeback after he was out for 9 months because he picked up his child and put his back out.
Sometimes the decision needs to be made to move someone into the coaching/upstairs role. He will make a fantastic coach, and maybe even be involved higher up in the club.
We probably have to give up on the idea of him playing meaningful minutes for Hearts, unfortunately.
And I grew up with Craig Gordon as my idol, he is probably my favourite Hearts player ever.
He’s already said this is his last season, bro. He’s already made his decision to retire.
