Tastes like a low-fat option. Not in the same league as Halo Top.

You need to leave Halo Top to melt for a while - think you're right that Breyers has a better texture, at least straight from the freezer. Think Halo Top tastes a lot better, though.

A wee bit late to the party here, but I'd like to register my disgust for chocolate ice cream; awful stuff that tastes nothing like chocolate. Same goes for anything else "chocolate flavoured".

Strawberry is king, but I haven't tried any of your fancy ones due to the diabetes Monty Oh Well

At least fake strawberry is palatable. Chocolate ice cream is just bitter joylessness. It's how I imagine vegan chocolate to taste.

A good chocolate ice cream is quality. Wouldn't be my first pick, but chocolate ice cream with mix-ins (i.e. B&J Phish Food) = Piggy
