Amazing film

Honestly such a shite film, maybe it was good by 70s standards but fuck me that was a crap 2 hours. Think folk under the age of 50 only claim it's amazing because they think it makes them seem deep or something. It's pish, sorry.

Sorry it wasn't Hollywood enough for you

Have a neggy

Nothing to do with not being "Hollywood" enough. The dialogue in the first third of the film is good, but honestly it's not that enjoyable a movie. Doesn't hold up like a Scarface or whatever.
Just giving my honest view on a film I finally got around to seeing, when was the last time you watched it? Maybe you should see it again.

Really like Taxi Driver
Find Travis Bickle weirdly relatable

Neutral rep. Neggy for criticising such a good film but a pozzy for honesty.

Thor Ragnarok : 7/10
Very funny, didn't realise Taika Waititi directed and starred in this until the credits ran at the end, would highly recommend it for a light hearted comedy adventure

Justice League 6/10
Ben Affleck isn't a great batman tbh, Gal Gadot is absolute pinilla, the other characters(aquaman/cyborg/flash) are all thrown into this with very little origins or back story. And the villain Steppenwolf is pony Back to the drawing board for DC I think, Bales Batman with Gadot's Wonder Woman would be too drawer imo

Paddington 2
A solid 7/10, easy watching and better than the first film. Daughter loved it, and I expected it to be dreadful, but it was actually quite entertaining with Hugh Grant taking the piss out himself throughout.
First TalkHearts Survivor Winner.

Just watched Arrival tonight. Quite an interesting film with some Big Concepts thrown in; kept my attention despite no real action to speak of.

Was seething at that film. Literally fuck all happened. Only the fanny kept me interested

Death of Stalin 7/10
Some classic Iannucci in there but I think the subject was too dark to really work. Pretty good though and a great cast. Having Russians speaking in English accents worked surprisingly well. Stalin as a cockney

Arrival was shite
The offence (1973).
Cracking Sean Connery film. An emotionally knackered detective cracks while interrogating a suspected paedophile. Great Britsh drama/thriller directed by Sidney Lumet. Great cast, too. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0070468/

Arrival and the whole human understanding of time being linear was pretty fucking cool to be honest
