Watched The Bone Temple last night and it's as shit as the last effort. Taken an iconic bit of UK cinema and shagged it into the ground.

Was severely underwhelmed with the Peaky Blinders movie.

Just felt a bit pointless really and missing some very big characters. It didn’t really satisfy as an ending to the story at all.

Peaky blinders fell off massively, it’s all a bit cringe now imo Laugh

Watched I Swear this weekend, superb.

Watched it last night with the missus and we had the exact same conversation, just seemed a bit pointless and rushed for me.

It was like they needed to tie some things up with a view to moving the story forward, but it all seemed rushed and didn’t really follow a plot either.

Not convinced that another season is going to let it end well either.

Partridge and Floyd throwing their newsboy caps off in disgust as they leave the pictures.

Baker boy hat for me, looks better when I’m out walking my whippets.

Just finished watching Sinners, decent movie and was going to say I’m not sure about the Oscars hype but when you consider the F1 movie was also nominated for Best Picture then it most definitely deserves its place there

Project Hail Mary

Very enjoyable and Gosling is brilliant in it but I thought the way it ended was a bit naff.

Couldn’t really work out the hype with this tbh. From seeing the posters on the train and watching the trailer I thought it looked pish but then people started saying it was incredible. Went to see it and it was just a perfectly fine but forgettable 6-7/10 adventure film?

Undertone.

Really good horror film, definitely one to see in the cinema or at home with headphones on.

Super Mario Galaxy movie is gash, my laddie came out of it saying it was essentially all fan service with zero plot. Obviously not in those words, he’s 11

Magic Faraway Tree was really good though.

I was going to see this but then I saw the director bragging that there is absolutely no politics in the movie.

A science fiction movie without politics? I don't understand how that is possible. Gave it a miss because of that.

It's more difficult not to explore the human condition and how humanity organises itself in a deep and meaningful way when making sci-fi. I assume it's space cowboys then?

Or should I give it another look? I already got the ending half spoiled with those who had watched it, who were also bragging that the ending was normative and not complex (woke, for them). Again, it's probably more difficult to make a nice neat ending in a sci-fi film rather than shades of grey.

Anyway, I really wanted to see it and this rhetoric I came across online put me right off.
