By that standard almost any movie that features a challenge to be overcome or a lesson to be learnt - that's almost all of them - is basically the same. Within that Rocky and Star Wars aren't really that similar.

Haven't seen Rocky tbh, was just taking a swing at Breaker's bizarrely wide-ranging list of genres he doesn't see the appeal of
![]() Maybe he just hates films with more than three sequels.

dok the common factor is they are all quite popular and famous films, remember reading the hobbit at primary and enjoying it but I couldn't be hooped with the films

102/250. Apparently not as bad as I'd have assumed.

116/250. Surprised myself with a few films I've never got around to seeing.

Straight Outta Compton - 8/10.
Pretty compelling stuff. My favourite parts were the pool parties with largely-naked ladies.

Just a shout for the first Rambo film.
For the machine gun nonsense that it turned in to, only one person gets killed in the first film.

![]() A documentary that uses a cache of letters, diaries and documents to reveal the life of SS-leader Heinrich Himmler. Definetely changed my opinion of him. What thoroughly nice man he was. |
