Saw the new Hunger Games film tonight. Pretty much nothing happens. Spent the whole time looking at Jennifer Lawrence and thinking about how it's too late...I've seen everything.

I saw the original (Spanish?) one when it came out, was pretty good. Then gave the American remake a go - Didn't bother with any of the subsequent films as you usually find they are just awful
Tusk - now see here, making a film about a serial killer, is okay, but making a film about a serial killer who turns his victims into Walrus', is, quite simply, not okay.
Ye, David Schwimmers debut as a director. It's worth a watch, really intense story although you can see a couple of flaws in the way the film is put together but still good for a debut.

Is it really that bad? Listened to the smodcast it was based on back when it came out and laughed my nuts off. Was really looking forward to seeing it.
His next two films are Yoga Hosers with the two girls from the store in Tusk (his and Johnny Depps daughters) and Moose Jaws, Jaws with a moose

It could be that it was "meant" to be like this - in which case, sorry, it went right over my head - it did start out okay, but, well, ah.
The podcast bit, did admittedly, look pretty funny so might need to check it out..
