Been thinking that myself. The conspiracy theorists might suggest that the powers that be simply want to see the back of this case with some sort of 'result' and finality.

If conspiracy theorists wanted to put something to bed it'd be 9/11, not the disappearance of a 3 year old British girl.

It's not the conspiracy theorists who 'might' want to put this to bed its those who have long wanted a case closed, for whatever reason, or who are not willing to put anymore money into something that has had many millions spent on it.

I don't think they're just going to pin the murder on this guy for no reason. They have the evidence.

They surely have to have definitive evidence for this all to have come out but seems a shambles at the moment with too many people involved
