One player in the 17s is 13 and plays for Scotland u15s (MOTM in a game away against the Germans, naturally the high quality coaching she receives from her club, m80s Smug ). She is absolutely head and shoulders above the rest, even when she plays with the boys u15s. Absolutely outstanding footballer.

Hibs will snap her up and ruin her (:begbieSmile soon enough though Snake

When I coached (read as: collected consent forms and tried to get a team together after innumerable drop outs every week, before standing cluelessly on the sidelines as the goals rained in on us) a school team, we played a game against a team with a girl who had been rejected for Scotland because of her gender. It wasn't her ability, that's for sure Fat Cunt Ran riot against us Laugh

Not sure if she continued in the game, but her story was on Reporting Scotland a few months later. She'd probably be 17 or 18 by now.

Was at school with Mikey Stewart, always was a moaning faced wee prick but he was an absolute standout regardless of the opposition.

We used to have a couple games of Hampden pairs then a big game with mates every Friday and most weeks he would be sporting the latest clubs kit that had tried to sign him.  My claim to fame (sadly only a kick about as I was pish) is that I saved a penalty from him and true to form he spat the dummy jjay

Used to play 5's every sunday though and there was this big guy who was just terrible. He actually improved considerably over the time we played but still. He had the beckham style hair and coloured boots which made it worse. Affectionately known as 1* (PES days).

Also, in the glasgow 5's, Martin T wasn't exactly Messi.

Martin is hands down the worst player I've had the misfortune of having to pass a ball to.

He turned up for a Real Maroon game wearing rugby boots.

I played with Stephen Hendrie for a season before he left to join Hamilton's pro-youth setup, he was just a class act, and ran every game from centre midfield. He was very quiet, and opponent's always tried to rough him up, but nothing seemed to faze him and he always seemed to have the last laugh. Hamilton turned him into a left-back which I was quite surprised at, but thenHe signed for West Ham for £2 million at the start of the season, so what do I know. Warnock

Also played with Declan Hughes who is now at Cowdenbeath, he was amazing, much better than Hendrie, but he didn't have the attitude to make it to the top. I'm sure he was released from St Mirren for posting a status saying he hoped Neil Lennon died, or that he wished someone would hang him. Eek

I never got to show my true worth at Glasgow kickback 5s, kept destroying myself and needing 5 months to fix my hammys.

My love of football was never matched by my ability - I was (and obviously still am) fucking garbage Sob scored the odd raker, and could be a solid defensive player at times, but I'm on the whole gash.

I did play a couple of games alongside Steven Whittaker at high school, and he clearly had the talent and the attitude. A few others from Lasswade had the talent, but their attitudes were appalling, including David Dunn, who got ripped apart by James McFadden in his only Hearts appearance Eek

I remember playing Lasswade in School football in the Scottish cup Hank, they had some really good players, they had a keeper that was outstanding aswell.

Were there no quite a few who were pro for a wee bit from that year? Adam Nelson and the goalie, Kieran? Or something were at Blackburn for a bit? Sure there were a few others who were at Hibs for a year or two

Plenty of lads had the talent from that year, but as you say, absolutely appalling attitudes Warnock DD probably by far the worst culprit Eek

A truly appalling footballer. Also the most offensively vanilla character ever.

I'm trying to picture her setting up that page, getting read to post it, getting really excited about all the positive responses, and now greeting into her granola. It's getting me moist.

How the fuck do you get money for that?

"Give me money to stay in Glasgow for a year"
"OK here's a big bag with a dollar sign on it"
