My boss is from Aberdeen and her mum brought down some 'rowies' or 'butteries'.
They're basically croissants but flat and with more salt in them. Covered in butter and jam ![]() Top notch if you're a wee bit hungover

![]() They're all the left over dough from rolls battered together with heaps of butter. Probably the unhealthiest morning bakery item you can get. They are good though
