I had to phone in the day, absolutely fucked like. Hoping to take this as a recovery day and get back at it the morn, been nailing the ibuprofens, sucking the strepsils and gargling the corsodyl mouthwash. Felt like I could've collapsed last night I felt so weak.

I was off for a couple of days end of the week before last, some kind of virus. Couldn't get out of bed for 2 days solid. Don't think I've been off for about 4 years and rarely ill but that one beat the shit out of me.

We have about 15% of our entire school roll off sick just now. Never seen anything like it

Anyone know if you can make an initial offer on a house without going through a solicitor?

Just been to view a place which the current owners have part exchanged having bought a new build, so Cala are actually selling it. Because of this it's on at a really reasonable price.

Expect they'll have plenty offers so wondering if I can make an offer myself first thing tomorrow or if I need a solicitor to make an offer on my behalf?
