Must admit I started shitting it with those carbon monoxide leak shouts
Meant to ask was it beeping or proper ringing? Beeping is the battery if it's ringing and there's no smoke it's a faulty alarm. The carbon monoxide alarm shouldn't ring when the smoke alarm goes off unless there's a way to differentiate between them.
Fit these at the work so the wee light comes on to say fire or co

It was beeping intermittently but they all went off so it was loud as fuck, I'm sure it was the battery in the upstairs one because that's been taken out and it has stopped going off.
It was starting upstairs and triggering the rest of them but most of all triggering me to fuck, trying to get the thing off ended up punching a door out of sheer seethe

It was beeping, I don't know exactly how to describe the sound but when the battery got removed the problem stopped so it must have been that, it was always starting from that particular alarm too.

If you remove the battery it's going to stop ringing, buzzing, beeping or anything-ing.
I know but there's no smoke and it had a red light in it, if there was any smoke or any sort of issue then the other ones would still go off, I just removed the battery from 1/3 alarms and none of them are now going off.
Our downstairs neighbour went away for a couple of days at new year and the battery had went on there smoke alarm, beeped every 5 mins or so for 2 days

Why not swap the battery with one of your other smoke alarms to see if that's the problem?

Can't be arsed tonight mate tbh, it's a pain in the arse getting the alarm off, I don't see any other reason it would be going off other than it being a dud battery, there was no smoke or that and the other ones aren't going off now so it all adds up in my opinion.
