This morning whilst driving down the A68, a bird on my right caught my eye. It was a crow hanging upside down from the wires, tilting its head, and swinging a bit. Thought of the high bar at the Olympics (whihc is daft actually, as gymnasts don't actully hang from their feet! ). Couldn't stop unfortunately or I would have come to a screeching stop and tried to get a photo/video.

That family of birds are complete bammers, always seem bored and looking for new ways to entertain themselves. Few weeks back I was walking along the prom and watched one spend agood couple of minutes pulling at a dog's tail as it had it had its head deep in a hole it was digging. It would shuffle along very cautiously, and quickly pull it's tail and shuffle back as the dog stopped and popped back up again to see what was going on. Tbf, they both seemed to be having fun.

Ravens in the Arctic would gang up on puppies and torment them, seen that a few times. Also, they'd often wok together to get food off a dog - one or two would distract while another would nick its grub. Then they'd swap positions so all could feed.

The local magpies and crows regularly wind the dug and her pal up - deliberately landing in their line of vision, jumping away at the last minute, then floating just high enough to be out of reach but low enough to look gettable, watching the dugs lose their minds jumping up trying to catch them

Saw something online a while back about a family who fed a murder of crows ( ) every day, and one day the birds made a gift by dragging a ring pull from a can over a wee stick and gave it to the family
