I see some of you heathens don't like tinned tuna Wiggo

Tuna, salmon, prawn, mackerel etc = all good Smug

So, lets have a run down of the THF's favourite fillings.

For me you can't beat some Italian meat between your buns, mainly in to salami and pastrami the now. Quite like a lot of the polish sausage meats anaw. If I'm taking a lunch to work, it's usually just a pita stuffed with chicken salad. If nipping out for something, I always treat myself to a chicken and chorizo wrap or some form of spicy meat flatbread/wrap. TBH I'm not overly fussy meat wise as long as it's decent quality and there is a heap of salad/decent condiment. None of your corned beef or wafer thin ham peasant food thanks.

Secondary, this thread is for us to share our tastes, swap ideas and maybe try new things. It's main purpose though, as always, is just to rip the pish out of each others vile and sadistic ways jjay

Over to you, brothers.

Mayo is only ever acceptable with chicken. Egg and tuna can fuck off.

I, eh, don't eat sandwiches. Never seen the appeal.

Genuinely can't figure out how you're failing to draw the comparison to tinned tuna and tinned beef. You're the heathen, VS. The very type you hate. Unless you're desperately trying to get protein into your diet cheaply, and even then there's better ways, there's literally no reason to eat stinking tinned fish.

Don't think I've ever eaten egg mayo before. Sounds vile.

Pretty much any of the speciality meats in Sainsburys (Serrano ham, chorizo, pastrami, parma ham, etc) plus a nice bit of cheese does the job for me. I don't mind a bit of mayo on a sandwich as a replacement for butter now and again.

Any fish on a sandwich is disgusting tbh.

I'm of the opinion that anything on a roll is tremendous.

Wether it be fish, to meat, to pizza and pies jjay

I love a Reuben or a variation on that, quite like home made coronation chicken as well, fire in some more heat in the curry powder and use greek yoghurt. Tremendous.

You will struggle to beat the perfect french simplicity of a jambon beurre though.
