Had high hopes for him (next Robbo Warnock ) Do you think his problems with injury will stunt his development indefinitely?

He's a very good player imo. I think he can force his way into the team. Easily underestimated as he's not particularly pacey, powerful, strong in the air etc - in fact it's hard to pinpoint what exactly his strengths are, but we always seem to play better with him in the side and he always seems to chip in with a goal or two.

Gave us a top gif as well :carrickooh:

I thought him and Sow were starting a good partnership, hope they can continue it when he's back.

He's a great link up player.

Will never score loads but will set up plenty.

Not sure about him on his own, but one thing is for sure: his partnership with Sow is absolutely incredible.

Ant and Dec. Bacon and eggs. Tuna and alfredo sauce. Sow and Carrick.

It is definitely the best partnership Hearts have had up front since the Famous Five of Walker, Walker, Walker, Pinilla and Obua of the 1930s.

Love Carrick.

Not because he's a good guy and the PHM gif etc..., but I love his style of play and how he went from "subby that we should probably release" to a bulked up wee guy that can hold up play, strike from distance and still fast enough to run in behind/close down defenders.

That's what they said about Bobby Walker in 18 canteen.

He went on to be indisputably the best player in Heart of Midlothian's history. Perhaps the best player ever to grace the Hampden turf in Scotland.

Those 37 minutes were special, reminded me of the Bergkamp - Henry link up.

I suspect he's on a kind of 'injury warning' - he either provides near enough a full season of availability and playing well enough to be getting game time throughout, or hell be touted around for sale/release.

He needs a full season this year or he's finished at hearts.

I can see him going on loan for the start of the season.

He's got the potential to play at this level.
