I'm aware of how stupid this sounds but when I was younger this was an ex gf and my's preferred method of 'contraception'. She used to go on about how the pill messed with her hormones or something. Anyway, long story short, it worked for about a year/year and a half before inevitably falling pregnant and ended up having an abortion - which was obviously a grim experience. I think it was the right decision in the end as we were about to go to uni and we weren't ready for it at all.

Moral of the story - doesn't work.
