For me, the E is leaning to the right and the Y looks too high.

The number is also spaced like it would be for an adults top and has about 2 inches between the lettering and the number so it sits really low.

think I’ll take the top elsewhere to get numbered next year they are fucking hopeless in the club shop, I just don’t understand how these things can’t work on templates it’s just a bit tinpot

The manager (JP?) agreed it was squint and offered to reprint it but the lassie working behind the desk said it was the lining of the top, I kept pointing out the E and Y but she was adamant it wasn’t squint, I had been in the shop about 45 minutes by this point as they took ages to put it together. They then made a mock up of it being on a curve but that looked even worse. If it’s arched the centre of each letter should be on the curve line, they were setting them off from the left of the lettering of that makes sense?
Was fucking fuming with the lassie, the bairn won’t notice the difference but it was just classic Budge era hertz, we are right, just shut up and give us your money vibes.

They surely should have a letter spacer and a margin for the space between the letters and top.

As the third biggest club in Scotland it’s quite embarrassing it isn't done to perfection, they must print thousands of them per year - seems trivial to moan about it and if it was a one off fair doos but every year bar last season they have managed to fuck up my bairns top. I have them all stored and probably moan on here every fucking time as well.

imagine some of the Europa opponents fans picking up a souvenir top and getting a squint print for there troubles,
They did have a curved template but I’d guess it’s only for adult size and they couldn’t even set it up, the curved is probably only required since Shankland is easily the most popular player and won’t fit straight when printed on a smaller shirt.

The only other place I’ve seen that wasn’t very good at name and number printing was thompsons sports back in the 1990’s.

Our club shop and merchandise is an overpriced shambles. Some of the stuff they try to punt on the website is ridiculous. I remember they were trying to punt Perry Kitchen "Captain America" t-shirts for a fiver, about six months after he had left the club.

The back of the shop must be like Del and Rodney's flat, full of unwanted garbage, that nobody will ever buy. You couldn't give it away.

They still had a bunch of Uche and Meshino postcards for sale up until about a year ago, real Poundland vibes about the place, the sheer size of the shop and the amount of tat is insufferable, focus on what sells, obviously there is a market for Tat but the whole shop is rammed with it
