It’s like a weird fire sale down there to try and deal with this whole PSR situation before the end of today. The market down there is hyper inflated so bang average players cost a fortune.

They’re not actually getting those fees though, it’s just creative accounting. Forest making a big deal about spending £35m on Anderson then immediately selling their backup keeper to Newcastle for an ‘undisclosed’ fee Far better for both than them just buying Anderson for £20m.

FFP/PSR are a complete nonsense though so probably fair game to manipulate it. Should never have been brought in in the first place but how have they come up with a rule where teams are encouraged to sell their youth products instead of play them
