Rapinoe seems like a knob. I've seen her interviewed and she comes across as a fanny. She also came across as an arsehole on the pitch, that gimpy celebration in the World Cup and celebrating like mad when they were about 10-0 up against a minnow. It was embarrassing.

Thanks for reminding me how hilarious it was at the time seeing people trying to hide their obvious sexism by pretending to be outraged by footballers celebrating a goal at a fucking Word Cup Zlat

I couldn't handle the cringe of watching them celebrate the 10th goal. It was clear it was professionals v amateurs and they were behaving like typical smug American cunts about it. Weirdos.

It's typical Americans for you. Smug about being the best in the world at a sport that no-one really cares about.

He just explained the context to you. Arses who when they play sport get all pumped and cringe about being the best.

You've got the other thread the now to discuss all things America. This is in the football bit of the forum.

Rapinoe does come across as pretty unpleasant tbf, really obnoxious individual. I watched the video diary thing of them parading the cup and definitely got the sense that at least some of the others in the squad were wiggoing her TF Laugh

Was pretty nippy that your Sarkozies etc put her on a pedestal where anyone who thought she was an arse was a raging misogynist.

Nah that's shite, feel free to take an objection to her views but the complaints about her celebrating a goal the wrong way were undoubtedly misogynistic. Read through any of the threads of people talking about their favourite players on here and you'll see plenty of words like swagger, cockiness, arrogance, nonchalance... until a female player has the cheek to celebrate a goal in a World Cup final and they decide such characteristics are disgraceful. I think people would react the same way if Ronaldo and his teammates pumped in a 13th goal (against a team ridiculously out their depth) and then proceeded to partake in some stupid pre arranged celebrations and rub their faces in it.

She's not going to shag you.

I'm with you on that actually. She acts like a Fanny with the wage thing but gets an extremely hard time for standard football behaviour.

The wage thing is probably where she acts least of a fanny.
