I have to say, the more professional Open Goal gets, the more I find this stuff a bit too twee and cringy.

I'm the same TBH, I like their commitment to lower league coverage but the patter wears thin quite quickly. Can't get enough of the Open Goal stuff. I'll give it a watch tonight though and see what's been improved.

I've also been listening to that Go Radio Football podcast. 2 hours ever night on Scottish football. Bit Old Firm focused as you'd expect but it's not bad.

I watch all the Open Goal stuff too, used to pie all the stuff with Slaney and Mccavennie etc... but they actually talk intelligently now. Si Ferry is player-coach at Peterhead and Halliday kens his onions so it's good when they go deeper into the tactical stuff.

Si Ferry is being way too harsh on the Scotland team though, he's getting passionate about how negative we are and can't see that we are growing into the system.

Aye, tbf he's the worst. Comes out with some one liners, but he's the only one that can't stay serious. Even Slaney is getting right into the tactics chat too.

Sometimes Kyle takes ages to make a bland point. Gets a bit nippy.
