Celtic and rangers will have their colt teams in the normal pyramid, it will definitely happen. The game here is set up to suit them so if they want it they'll eventually get it, they'll just need to grease enough palms on the way.

If they want in, they should be made to start at the bottom like everyone else. Do you think Auchinleck or Mussy would've been allowed to pay their way in?

Totally agree. If Hearts consider this, and I think I read we were at one point, then I'd hope it's to start at the very bottom. Anything else is a joke.

There's already 'reserve' teams in the pyramid but they all are at the bottom rung and I think they're not allowed to be promoted. Hearts, Hibs and Berwick, all used to have sides in the EoS.

Of course, discussion about a proper reserve league barely gets mentioned either. No surprise what two teams helped to get that stopped.

I really don't see the need for any Colt teams, a proper reserve/under 20's league would do the same job. All we're going to get now are the Old Firm hoovering up more youngsters and waste them playing in the Lowland League before releasing them again. We'll get told it's better for youth development but it won't be. 

Hearts being shite helps with this but the way football is run up here, and everywhere else really, is enough to push fans away full time.

There's been chat a deal has already been agreed with an English Championship club. 500k prices all but two teams out in Scotland.

I always thought once we came back up first time, debt free and fans contributing upwards of 150k a month FOH pledges on top of all the other income, and with the club in a great place, that we'd be bidding 500k for players quite easily and be attracting a lot of decent prospects.
