I'm in a small betting syndicate with my brother and my mates that do Aintree every year, with all winnings going into a collective pot that is split before we go away, with the man who wins the most cash getting a really tacky trophy and the man at the bottom who wins the least getting a cuddly monkey (monkey off the back - daft I know).

This weekend was the last weekend, and the boy at the bottom decided to go for broke with a £10 acca on
Barnsley, Blackburn, Norwich, Swansea, Sunderland, Cheltenham, & Tranmere to return £380 and take him well clear of the foot.

Needless to say Tranmere got beat at home after Swansea & Andre Ayew scored a 97th minute winner to just rub salt in his wounds. Eek

Gutted doesn't even begin to cover it.

(Fans also would not be unhappy at a change).

Maybe bringing in a new guy to prep the team for next season rather than waiting until the summer?
