Quite an interesting article about people in Thailand protesting in regard to limiting the powers of the King. I was there during his birthday celebrations a couple of years ago and it seemed as though he was treated as more or less a divine figure. Would never have imagined that kind of dissent against him. Fucking mental military junta in charge and a King that hordes billions of pounds worth of the countries wealth, whilst living in Germany

There's laws against saying anything negative against the King, some folk have had significant jail terms for it

The previous King was loved and well respected though because he was behind a lot of the development and modernisation of the country, the new king is just a bit of a selfish wee shagger only looking out for himself that's what's spurred a lot of this on
