In future generations Trump's 2016 campaign will be remembered as the greatest troll in the history of mankind.
A part of me actually wants to see him win just to see what will happen, in the same way you will a tightrope walker to take a tumble halfway through.

I don't get what she's getting at with the whole 'fire' thing. Bit too subtle.

I'm intrigued to see who Trump would pick as his running mate. Although Cruz is polling in second and they (apparently) respect each other, he's widely loathed outside the GOP. I can see him picking a woman, probably unlikely to be Palin given her disastrous showing in 2008. Maybe he'd go for another non-political, high profile candidate? I just can't see him picking one of his current opponents as a running mate.
Shame about the Democrats too, as Clinton's a bit of a narcissist who loves a flip-flop and Sanders is a bit too much like a Larry David character, although I agree with a lot of what he says.

A Cruz candidacy would kill the Republican Party practically stone dead in November - every cloud and all that - but it won't happen. Rubio will win the nomination now: watch the media and big money swing behind him. Unfortunately, Rubio's the only Republican who could win the Presidency. Clinton's a profoundly unimpressive candidate: no charisma, no change, just a bunch of pretty conservative positions, and a stupidly hawkish foreign policy. All that money, the Democratic Party machine fixing things for her in an openly corrupt way, and she ties with Bernie? A month or so back, I linked to an analysis which suggested Sanders would win the Presidency. It's still a dream right now - but the possibilities are growing. In New Hampshire, he'll beat Hillary like a drum. |
