Spring onions are really good chucked in with cheesy pasta. 
Do it towards the end though, so that they're not a complete soggy mess.

I don’t think this is a thing outside Dumfries, if it is I’ve never seen it. We have this thing called Panzanella (not the tomato salad by the same name) which is essentially deep fried strips of pizza dough. You can get it at almost every single restaurant salted and served with garlic mayo. 

Ya boi’s decided to put it on the menu after 4.5 years of holding off, only its salt and chilli panza with lime and coriander mayo. Unreal

What have I learned from all this pain in the arse cooking?
If you're making rice, cous cous, or bulgar wheat, add chicken stock paste. 
Also, get yourself some Ketjap Manis from the supermarket if you're making stir fry, it's basically a sweeter version of soy sauce.
