McTominay met with McLeish yesterday and is meeting Southgate today. Hopefully we sold the gap Brown has left as his slot for the next decade and his dad is on at him. TBH from what I have seen he looks like a Fletcher type grafter but we need all the options we can get.

Probably hypocritical of me but I'm against situations like Matt Ritchie where he clearly couldn't give a fuck about Scotland but fancied a bit of international action later in his career. McTominay seems to want to play for Scotland so if he chooses us I would be happy.

Tbf I don't know his situation. Funk wasn't born here but I'd want him in the team as he basically is. Maybe that laddie is the same.

Every other country takes players who couldn't care less about them and we should do the same. We might even start qualifying for major tournaments again.
