I've watched that McKenna maybe 5 times so couldn't really say. I know Souttar is a good player though.

No issue with McKenna, it's the Hendry call up because of who he plays for that pisses me off. Something that always holds us back. Need to have good Rangers men and good Celtic men in there. Jamie Murphy as well, played well in the Championship for years and never got a sniff. Goes on loan to Rangers and he's in
![]() If Souttar had achieved the exact same but in an old firm jersey would he be in? The answer is yes.

He keeps saying on merit yet hasn't provided any case for this merit of McKenna's other than he doesn't rate Souttar
Anyway as I say it' academic and reasons like this are why can't be doing with the Scotland team. Bad enough when Levein won't even pick our best players never mind whoever's in charge of Scotland.

Whats the young lad at the huns, McCrorie? Sure he's a CB. He should be in. Thouvh I think he's injured

If we're going to be honest, Souttar is too small, too naïve and regularly gets mirked for the Scotland under 21s. I wouldn't hesitate seeing Paterson in a Scotland shirt, seeing Souttar in one gives me the if we have ambitions of qualifying for a major tournament.

I'm quite happy Berra isn't wasting his time playing for the SFA XI this weekend tbh. Lets him get some much needed rest.

It's absolute madness that there are two good choices for CB who play week in week out together and they aren't trying them out in friendlies.

Berra would be in the squad and most likely straight in the team were we playing a competitive game, he's been struggling with injury so he's been left out for these diddy friendlies, there's no way you can name a squad and please everyone, if he gets us results then nobody will complain about who or who wasn't in the squad.
I'm actually quite pleased there seems to be a few CB's coming through that look decent as it's a position I think we've looked weak in over the last few years.

ITK Poster.
We were discussing merit and tbf if considering every single player than aye there would be a case for Boyd, but I think it is accepted it is an out with the old in with the new job and we are discussing the merit of the new players.
