Confused as to how they'd have access to CCTV footage.

I do actually think, contrary to the OP, that a lot of the young guys involved in the stuff that's going on - certainly inside the stadium - are most likely just daft wee laddies.  That shouldn't - and, I imagine, won't - exempt them from receiving the appropriate sanctions for their behaviour although I'd find it difficult not to sympathise with many if they were to end up in serious trouble over it.

Also interested in why Mozzer considered their level of education to be relevant.

I think that photo was taken by someone on the bus, and they were just mentioning that there was CCTV nearby.

I think that if they're arseholes they're arseholes, regardless of how well they did at school. Plenty of people with less than stellar attainment at school manage to avoid attacking buses. Yourself, for example: despite obviously being as thick as pigshit, you managed to keep your nose clean today.

There's a difference between calling someone stupid and attacking them on the basis of their poor educational attainment (presumably what Mozzer was getting at when he called them 'poorly educated', as it would've been a strange place to vent his frustrations at the state of our schools). It was a gratuitous piece of snobbery which the post could easily have done without.

To be clear, I've met Mozzer before - quite a long time ago now - and we always got along fairly well. This isn't the first time that I've seen this kind of comment in one of his posts on here, though, and that was why I chose to pick him up on it.

I got what he was doing but it'd have only worked if I was either trying to defend them or outspokenly condemning them, and I was doing neither.  Also I wanted a chance to accurately remind Johnny that he's a bit of a dunce.

Tbf if they were just trying to be ultras I'd be a bit sympathetic towards them.

When I was younger Id have loved hearts to be massive on the smoke bombs/pyro/etc etc.   That's why I pushed for the big flag so much because I had never seen anything like that at tynie before and I thought our support was dull

However they're just wee thugs.  Every single game you hear about them getting involved in bother, attacking young rival fans and just being little cunts in general.  It'll all end in tears for them one day, can't see the radges in the celtic support letting them away with it.  Wasn't there rumours of a guy being left in a  coma after parkhead?  Was it one of them?
