9 goals in a row Wow

Obviously an amazing achievement but if you are a Liverpool or spurs are you looking at this guy and thinking he's the answer?

Feels just like an incredible run to me rather than a top class player. Can't fault the guy though.

It's like Harry Kane all over again.

And look how it's turned out for him this season...

Kane's looked fine in recent weeks, he was the luckiest striker in the league last year though

Kane has started banging them in again (for England too) so it's beginning to look like he's the real deal.

Not sure about vardy though.

Still not that convinced by Kane tbh, Vardy is in the same boat though.

The one thing you can guarantee with Vardy, apart from his racist tendencies, is that he'll put in an absolute shift for 90 minutes so when the goals do start to dry up a bit he'll still probably look like a not bad player.

He should start over Rooney for England but that's a closed shop. He'll be a good player until his pace goes.

I wouldn't say Vardy is a top striker but he's a bit different and defences are struggling to handle him at the moment whilst he's on form - a bit like Charlie Austin for a while.

be interesting to see if he can keep it up. I am guessing he won't and might beat the record and get 20 this season but then he'll either fade away or do something stupid and sign to warm a bench at a man city as a designated English player.

For him though he'll be earning £30k a week minimum for a guy who was earning that a year 5 years ago.

Including the last month of last season, he has ha a phenomenal run. It's a shame that at 28, hes been a fairly late developer. Leicester in general are a team that you'd think or assume will falter as the season progresses, but they have had a tremendous start with an on-paper average squad.

Its an incredible run he is on and when you throw in he is a British striker with a high goals tally in the goalscorers table, that does not happen all that often so he will be there or there about's for the upcoming England squads or maybe even the Euro's next year. Pearson should take a lot of credit for it as well.

Kind of reminds me of Marcus Stewart when Ipswich were promoted under Burley at Ipswich.

His goal scoring tally at Leicester is strangely inconsistent 4, then 16, then 5 and he's up to 12 already this year.

Once you start hitting the net it just seems so easy to keep doing it, he's obviously in a good mindset just now, moving to a big club where he'd spend time on the bench and stop his momentum could finish his career.

Me and a couple of m80's were just discussing this last night. Weird. That was mentioned, he just screams of the type of guy that Spurs or Liverpool type would be suckered into paying like £9m for or something after one good season Laugh

On a great run tbf, deserves a shot for England too

Says a lot about the standard of the "best league in the world" that a plodder like Vardy is smashing them in imo.
