Jimmy Bone. Had the pleasure of his company a few times and he was always an absolute gentleman. Last time I seen him we were singing the Hearts song outside a pub in Stirling at 1am.

I met him in Tenerife years ago when he was between fights and couldn’t believe the size of him, he just ballooned in weight and then a few months later he’s back to fighting weight and getting ready to go again.

Thought at the time that it can’t be good for you constantly dieting and eating like fuck and then dieting again.

He’s struggled with his mental health for a long time too, so although it’s sad that he’s died at 46, it’s sadly no surprise either.

Yeah the drastic weight changes would take its toll. You see Pimblett ballooning up too between fights.
