Overall our football has been lethargic since admin save for the first half/two thirds of the championship season. It can't handle the hustle and bustle of a derby now that Hibs are competing physically and working harder. Robbie 'Just another game' Neilson I think played his part in that, it's obviously not easy to bring some snap back to our play I want Mr Romanov. Back then our support, and the team, had that smugness about them that really wound up the opposition, and flowed into our play. Helped we had confident players mind. It was all very we don't give a fuck, up ye. Now we're all shh, shit down please, thank you. Nobody fears us. Especially not the hibs. They used to come to tynie heads down, shitting themselves, now they practically Vince McMahon about the place. (02-28-2017, 06:04 PM)Johnny Wrote: Dugshite got punted from here for the same

Definitely a link between doing the 5-1 hand sign and sexual deviancy

It was over, for me, about a year after it happened. Just embarrassing these days.

How is there any correlation between beating them 5-1 and now being shite in derbies?
The two are completely unrelated. The fact is that we kicked the arse out of 5-1 over a short period of time. Books released and every single photo had it slipped in. I think this is what leads to the apathy over it now. It's just been done to death. Even I cringe when I see guys doing it on nights out etc now. It's clearly still worth rubbing their nose in it from time to time though. Mainly because they're completely lying to themselves that it doesn't matter now. We dined out of it for ages then on top of that we had their relegation party. Then their relegation. Then wiping the floor with them in the championship. Then their ridiculous attempts to get out of that league. That must have hurt like hell and this was shown by their complete dip in attendances up until last May. It's infuriating that currently they absolutely do have the upper hand. I'll never forgive Neilson for practically handing them the cup. We need to reassert ourselves in this tie next season. Letting them get on an undefeated run into double figures isn't an option.

Romanov understood how important the Derby was, I don't think Ann Budge appreciates how much it means to the fans even though she was a previously a season ticket holder, whilst saying that there is only so much blame can be put at her door, one thing for sure is that Neilsons feet wouldn't have touched the ground if he made the money spinning comment under the Romanov regime, 5-1 hurt them but the relegation season finished them and the 2 events combined meant that anyone who'd been at hibs during them wouldn't go through that again... I spoke to a few hibs fans in the lead up to the 0-0 at tynie and they were honest enough to say they were shitting it at the prospect of facing hearts, something there players certainly weren't feeling!

As a Hearts fan I was also shitting it, I was actually out at a meal when the draw was made and there was a good few Hibs fans there, my immediate reaction was aw fuck sake whereas they were quite happy with it, they know they've got us by the baws now, how many games has Cummings opened the scoring against us as well btw? he probably wishes he could play us every week.

5-1 will be remembered forever, their wee run of 7 games unbeaten won't be
![]() The only reason 5-1 doesn't feel that good anymore is because our mongo fans over saturated it. Still the greatest derby victory of all time and nothing will ever top it unless they horse us in a final. They can pretend they don't care about it all they want but they obviously fucking do

Like I've been saying for over a year. Too many pub standard foreigners in the team. It doesn't feel like the Hertz anymore
