I feel it all depends upon the match-ups in the KO stages (obviously!). Some teams will be far more suited to knocking out other teams.
Based on what I've seen so far eight from Madrid,Barcelona, Atleti, City, United, Chelsea, Spurs, Munich and maybe Juve or Napoli should make up the Q/F-alists (unless they meet each other prior - shock!)
For instance PSG/United/Madrid will gladly play Barcelona on the back foot and hope to advance on the counter/set-piece.
Unless Spurs can sort out their transition game I can't see them getting past the quarters vs any of those bar maybe Atleti/Juve/Napoli.
There are few teams there that can actually successfully play on the front foot, and likely will irrespective of the opponent - Barce, City, Munich (I think although with Heynkels, who knows). Madrid can but probably won't vs
... ahhhh, fuck knows! I did say at the beginning of the season that I thought the EPL sides would do well in this competition with possibly 3 of our semi-finalists depending upon previous round match-ups. My opinion hasn't changed.
Last four ought, if they avoid each other beforehand, to be Madrid, PSG, City and United I'd have thought. Agree about Spurs not getting beyond the QFs.

They've only really played Bayern who were in a mess under Ancelotti, players weren't on board with him at the end, plus the scoreline flattered them in my opinion. Much, much tougher tests to come for them and I don't think they'll be up to it.

Semi-finalists, minimum. After that, it's down to small details. And whether their players can sacrifice their egos for a greater good.
Say this though: this is the most serious challenge to win the European Cup I've seen from any French side since Marseille's heyday.

I watched the second half of the Milan-Juve game late last night, before coincidentally trying to watch La Dolce Vita, and I have to say it fell into the 'Games I'd not want to miss' category. To sum it up, It just looked ace. Fantastic atmosphere by the sounds of it too. Also, some of the Roma-Bologna game was highly entertaining as well, with both teams intent on attacking. Plenty of speed in that Bologna attack.
Could it be the league to watch in the coming years.
