His decision making was really poor at times last night, but definitely grew into the game and had an ok night overall, I'd say. Definitely not worth the savaging HTG has dished out to him Laugh

He's no Olly though

Have a feeling Djoum will probably fall out the team when Cochrane gets back to full fitness or even Clare (still no idea if he's central or a wide player at this point :Laugh )

Think he's fairly solid and dependable though and with Lee getting forward and banging in the goals he can get away with that.

Still working his way back to full fitness, but has looked like one of our weaker players in recent weeks.

The difference now is that we aren't relying on him for creativity - Lee has come in and been the midfield threat we've been craving.

Felt total dread reading Cowie's name there. Which bellend was arguing with me the other week saying that Cowie didn't hide from the ball? Haring and Lee while not superstars are very brave on the ball.

Cowie loved it most when we didn't have possession. Sums him up.

Wow

Someone on here said Cowie never hid from the ball?

Wiggo

His specialty move was hiding from the ball, he was a fucking imposter who ran about a lot chasing shadows and contributed the square root of zero in most of his appearances.

Would love to know who was bigging him up. Warnock

Djoum's shakiness isn't a particular worry for me based on his past experience, has always taken 3-4 games to get going again. He's in a catch-22 now tho since our squad's better so he can't expect the run of 3-4 games to get himself into it. Could be a good thing there's a reserve league now if it's a higher standard than was there previously - anybody know if it's any better?
If teams close us down quickly like Livi did, and we can expect they will, he might still be a particularly useful midfielder as he's had quick feet in the past and has played OK against that. But but but he's also had lapses where he's just let someone get away from him when he's not on his game. It's up to him now to respond to not being assured a place if fit and get himself into form.

Didn't think he did badly. I think he's lost a lot of good will from folk because of a lot of disinterested, shitey performances and his stepping stone nonsense but he was nowhere near as bad as some are making out. He did really well for our first goal.

He's clearly not match fit yet either. Give him a month and he should be back up to speed. It'll be interesting to see how he goes in this team. It's easily the best Hearts team he's played in. He could be a very useful player for us with the massive games coming up in Oct/Nov. Tony Hmm

Hekens

His stepping stone pish means he needs to turn in performances above 'struggling to have an impact on a game against Motherwell' level. He wasn't terrible, but I don't think he made a difference to us.
