You asked what goes through a players head to do it, the answer is to try and put the opponent off on the sly so the ref can't see. As I said it will happen in pretty much every single game you watch you just don't notice it because usually the players are smarter about doing it.

It was a stupid thing to do in that situation though especially already being on a yellow. I don't even find it that funny because he was fucking shite yesterday and all he did in the game was grab a player by the baws who had the last laugh at full time.

Grabbing someone by the balls during a game is not in the slightest bit normal, I mean it's not unheard of but it doesn't happen often and it's a weird thing to do.
