That's a hard group, Russia even though they were on home soil were very well organised in the World Cup. 2nd will be a tough ask tbf.

The best news for Scotland is that Serbia have a great chance of qualifying from Group B. Which would make the playoffs far more negotiable.

Not much point in Northern Ireland taking part. That's the Group of Death.

Why didn't we get Israel's draw?
![]() My main worry is that Russia away is the sort of game that Belgium could slip up in, and Kazakhstan is a tougher trip for us than Russia. Need to be looking at 6 points against Cyprus, at least 4 against Kazakhstan and a home win against Russia as a bare minimum. Pleased to see San Marino though ![]()

Went to the last game we had in San Marino - really money-grabbing place, people practically dragging you into their tourist-tat retail sheds. Good to have been but not somewhere I was left wanting to rush back to.
Belgium have dismantled us too often & Russia only missed out on being WC semi finalists on penalties. Having said that they looked pretty wooden and rode their luck, still ranked nearly 20 places ahead of us tho. The other two, might be good places to go to and full points expected ![]()
