Bottom of the league and in free fall and our managers left training to the boy who puts the cones out 3 days before the biggest game of the season. In the meantime the guy we just sacked is planning a raid on 23rd place stoke city to save the day.

Where's the rumour come from out of interest? I'm sceptical that it's genuine in all honesty, reeks of some sort of diversion rumour to distract from the prospect of Levein and McPhee overseeing another transfer window.

I basically agree that having to work through Christmas is about the only negative of working in football, but don't Germans do their big celebration on Christmas Eve anyway? Not that it really changes how ridiculous it is that our new manager who has lost his first three games is getting to leave the country right before a derby.

His situation is he's been in the job about two weeks (after a month off that he presumably spent in Germany), has presided over three defeats and has an absolutely massive Edinburgh derby on Thursday. You keep bringing up something I said about 2 months ago as if it applies now. I'm well aware relegation is a possibility.
You are getting wound up at something you have a shred of detail about that's come from a random guy on kickback. You have no idea why he's went back so why not wait until you find out before slating him to fuck. I'm sure it will be brought up when he's back at his next press conference.
