So fam the Benoit's are looking at getting a kitten, any advice from the resident cat lovers on beds, litter trays, toys etc are best to get?

Also if anyone hears of anyone with kittens let me know. Would rather get from someone trusted than some random on gumtree, cheers

Cats are no hassle at all man, you can barely go wrong with them.

Doesn't matter what beds, toys etc you buy, they just sleep wherever they feel like and play with anything bar the toys

Not really much advice to give on litter trays etc apart from you obviously need one. Cats are great. Nothing finer than dozing on the couch listening to the football with the cat crashed out on you

I lost the dog about a year and a half ago and the wee one was really feeling it so I got her a kitten. Can't be arsed with it at all. Fucking stinks the place out. Get a dog man.

Like GA, I'd recommend going to a shelter to choose one or let one pick you.

That's how we got our first one, at a shelter a little black cat came up to me and fell asleep in my lap. We adopted him on the spot. We'd already agreed to take a kitten from a litter that same week so we ended up with two, turned out for the best as the shelter cat needed company. I wrote on here about the third one, you'd never know what bad shape she was in then to look at her now. One of the best things I ever did, even if getting them over here was stressful and expense.
