I really hate saying it because it makes it seem like the players aren't to blame. They are a bunch of shite bags lets get that clear, but the only way to move forward is for Budge to go. Swapping bang average footballers about won't do anything.

Is he happy with just Gordon being kept. The likes of Boyce and Smith are solid players but they've been here this entire time and are nowhere near blameless.
Neilson needs to take the responsibility for ripping up the Championship winning side in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous that we've had to bring in about a dozen players a year ever since.
The alarming thing is that it's an old squad. Irving is 20, and the youngest player starting after that is McEneff at 25
The overhaul required is absolutely massive, and Neilson just appears to have washed his hands of any responsibility for where we are.

This is the bit that has annoyed me from his interview last night, of the starting 11 last night, Halkett, White, Berra (who got hunted in January), Irving & Walker are the only ones from last season's shambles, so how can he claim that the spectre of relegation is still hanging over them?
He's taking the absolute piss with this, and Budge is too fucking stupid to see it!!
Tbf apart from Holt none of them are playing in the Scottish Premiership. Nicholson is probably of that standard as well. The rest of those mentioned are grim.

Who have we signed who's better and is still at the club, though? Smith gets a pass at RB, but that's really about it. Skinny and Lafferty were good, but they're away too.
In hindsight I'd rather keep a core of players together who, even if they weren't great, actually seemed to care a bit. Building a team round a core who have been relegated and promoted together is much more attractive than signing 14 mercenaries every year.
That said, if King and co had led us to 8th, 8th and 9th in the top league over the last few years we'd have been fucking raging
