Weirdly a mate of mine has covered 4 of RFS' 5 group games so far so is probably the UK's top current expert on them 
He was saying it's unbelievable how much they're paying the foreign players despite their crowds and reported income. The Brazilian boys are apparently earning far more than any Hearts player but not sure if the same would apply to the Germans and that.
