Getting Allan Campbell in our MF would be like us signing Jimmy Dunne at CH. Or Danny Armstrong on the wing.
The kind of signing that's moving us further away from the pack, and closer to the ugly pair.

He's been pish on loan at Millwall this year though so doubt he'll have any championship offers for next season. I'd imagine if people are content with the sort of wages we can pay then we are quite a pull? Living in Edinburgh, crowds of 17-20k per home game, regular European games. If the English game wasn't flooded with so much money i reckon we would be a much bigger attraction but as it is we are competing with League one and two on wage structures.

If he struggled to make an impact at Millwall then I'm not sure we can assume he'd light up Scotland on his return. Every signing is a risk though and he has good credentials

He played for Motherwell and I'd imagine since Sarkos poverty safari takes him to the den every now and then he probably knows a bit about him Scott

Ali Crawford or James McArthur depending on the era.

Only remember him being in the looks like he's running around after a crisp packet in the wind type of player.
Seems Hearts can never have enough of those types of midfielders ![]()

Ali Crawford looked really decent tbf at Accies. Thought he was one who would’ve kicked on.

Craig Gordon
Jimmy Dunne Frankie Kent Stephen Kingsley Danny Armstrong Calem Nieuwenhoff Allan Campbell Jamie Penrice Jan Dhanda Blair Spittal Lawrence Shankland Subs like Halkett and Vargas. 3 big additions plus rejecting bids for Shanks, but that Hearts team would run amok outside Glasgow and would even give those two a good head to head home and away. Kinda the ambition I'm hoping for from the FOH, hotel, STs, benefactor, and Europe monies. Or what's it all for?

As much as I would love us to sign him, the stats would suggest Jimmy Dunne is a regular for QPR, no danger is he going to sign for the wages we could offer? I’d hazard a guess he’s on 750k-1 million a year there.
I think we have to be realistic about our options and look at league one and Scottish teams outside the old firm and Maybe some Loans from the EPL.

Nathan Patterson could do with a loan move and a season up here would do him good? Unless Dyche goes his chances will be limited.
Also Scott McKenna is out of favour at Notts Forrest. Both out of our league for wages but also a seasons loan could help them get back to where they want to be whilst plugging some gaps in our squad |
