We've signed Blair Spittal on a pre contract. His position? RW.

So naturally over the road is in meltdown about us signing Danny Armstrong AND Luke McCowan. Both.RWs.

That'd see our transfer budget blown, and more, to sign three RWs.

Cute story except Blair Spittal plays on the left and Danny Armstrong is a great player, vastly superior to Forrest and Oda.

Luke McCowan has played centre mid for Dundee this season. Good player, tbf.

Yeah, I was sure he played in a midfield central 3 with Cameron. They have great chemistry together.

Happy to be corrected.

Spittal plays left? Was sure he was a RW.

I thought McCowan played RW to let Cameron play in the middle for Dundee?

Dhanda gives us AMF creativity so going to be interesting to see what wingers we play for him to find.

Put down google and actually watch Scottish football. He is only anywhere near Hearts radar due to his standout performances on the left this season.

Signing tried and tested scotch league players is good but can't have a full squad of them. Especially when Hibs could possibly be picking up marcondes or players of his level.

I don't currently see Spittal as a starter (unless he performs well enough and takes the jersey off someone).

Armstrong would be another matter though. Hibs can keep their Marcondes if we are signing boys like Cameron and Armstrong. Probably won't get either like, but there are tiers of Scotch players.

Dhanda sits somewhere in the middle, could be a flop or could be our best player. Worth a punt either way.

Checked last 6 or 7 Motherwell games.

Spittal on the left of two behind the CF. Or, LCMF of a 5.

Feel good bout this signing. Dhanda more right sided in the middle.

Maybe still room for Armstrong or McCowan after all.

Gonna be loads of chances for Shankland. Or whoever.

Spittal has that bit of technical quality to play inside forward, centrally too.

I've always said that we need a player like Jorge Grant, just not Jorge Grant. Seems like we are securing at least two in Spittal and Dhanda and maybe more. Exciting times if they can all stay fit.

Spend the cash then on Armstrong and a dominating LCH to partner Kent.

Be some team this. Can't see a flaw.

Aye, I'd take that. And I'd be expecting to rattle the OF a bit too, Weej media would be dusting off the dirty tricks manual.

It's Hearts though, I'd be gobsmacked if it came to pass.  Get the two Dundee lads in there too.

The bench would be outrageous too:

Vargas
Halkett
Mckay
Boyce
Forrest
Tait

to name a few.

Who knows how Lewis Neilson will develop also.

good point, you can easily slot Kingsley in there beside Kent at CH for a lot of the season, no problem with that. Sound

Need to get one of the Dundee lads shirley
